Alexandra Headland is located up a gradual kilometre climb from the shops at Mooloolaba. The view from the headland is spectacular and is a favourite surfing spot. A viewing platform allows you to watch the surfers in comfort. From the headland it is a short walk down to the Alexandra Surf Club located about a kilometre away. From the surf club it is about another two kilometres along flat, well-maintained footpaths to Sunshine Plaza at Maroochydore. A popular skatepark is located beside the surf club. It is an enjoyable walk, very popular with early morning risers.
